Support Beyond Training: Calvary Chapel & University Espoir, Port-au-Prince, Haiti

Our local partners in Haiti worked with relief workers packing supply kits for quake survivors. 

The recent surge of political unrest and violence in Haiti put our formal training with Calvary Chapel and University Espoir on hold.

As they focused on the immediate needs of their community, we continued with informal connections, providing encouragement and mentoring entrepreneurs. We checked-in regularly with our Haitian partners, helping with ways to navigate training amidst crisis, and consulting with them on topics like customer engagement, networking, and sustainability.

When the recent earthquake struck in August, our partners worked hard to support those who were affected and shared with us the need for tarps and other relief supplies. Hope Ventures made donations to aid them in gathering supplies that could be distributed to their local community.
