Rosa: Poultry Farming
The story is all too familiar, but the ending is not.
Imagine this …
You’re a mother.
Your husband abandoned you and your two children with no support.
You are hurting, overwhelmed, and have no real safety net.
You are now the sole provider for your family.
You ask, “What do I do now?”
This is the story of Rosa—a mother in Mozambique. And for her, the answer was simple. This was not going to be the end, but only the beginning of her story.
Thanks to people like you, Rosa enrolled in the Seeds of Hope Entrepreneur Training Program. Led by John Wayne and Tarryn Kennedy, Seeds of Hope is a community-based chicken processing and marketing company. John and Tarryn seek to empower and invest in entrepreneurs—helping them grow their business and gain access to local markets for their products. Rosa has completed the program and now wants to put her training into practice. She is praying for enough funding to start growing birds. With your help, Rosa has a chance to create a livelihood that not only provides for her family, but helps the local community!
With training and support from the Seeds of Hope program, Rosa hopes to start her business so that she can give her children the future they deserve.
