Project Spotlight: Manila, Philippines

Manila Training Event

Launched this year, Hope Ventures’ newest project in Manila addresses an urgent need for sustainable income opportunities in the Philippines, where nearly 25 million Filipinos live below the poverty line. Many of these families face risks like hunger, trafficking, and limited access to stable employment. Through Hope Ventures’ program with Extreme Response, 17 entrepreneurs—primarily women—are gaining the skills and mentorship needed to build sustainable businesses in fields like sewing, cooking, and retail. Supported by 12 dedicated mentors, these entrepreneurs receive hands-on training to start and grow their businesses, offering hope and financial stability to their families.

As they approach graduation, participants are experiencing first-hand the transformative power of entrepreneurship.

The business training has been a huge help to me. I have been wanting to start my business but never knew how. Thanks to the training, I not only have a better idea of how to start, but how to start right.
— Vilma Bautista

Thanks to your support, this program is transforming lives today and building a foundation of resilience and opportunity for future generations.
