Zimbabwe is home to some of the most valuable minerals in the world. It has the third largest platinum deposit on the planet along with gold, diamonds, and chrome. Its renewable resources of land, forest, wildlife, and water are plentiful. However, its richest asset is its people! Zimbabweans are incredibly community minded, sacrificing individual interests for the sake of the other. They are warm, welcoming, and considerate. And yet they face significant challenges when it comes to everyday life.
The Need
Even with all this good will, almost 40% of the population lives in poverty.* They lack the tools and education necessary to overcome the cycles of hardship. Government corruption has not helped, nor international corporations and banks who have exploited the economy. Without sustainable businesses, these communities cannot support themselves or experience whole-life flourishing. Entrepreneurs in Zimbabwe need a way to help each other lift their communities out of poverty.

The Opportunity

Through partnership with Gilead Trust, a Zimbabwean Entrepreneur organization, we help turn entrepreneurial dreams into financial realities. Together, we train local business trainers, entrepreneurs and establish business savings groups to construct intellectual and financial structures that empower Zimbabwean entrepreneurs to succeed.
