Resilience - Haiti has experienced devastating earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, droughts, and disease and yet research shows that the resilience of Haitians is superior to those of other nations who have experienced similar natural disasters such as China, Armenia, Japan, Italy and Taiwan (Cénat & Derivois, 2014b)
Entrepreneurship - Haiti’s business community is known for its diversity and dynamism. From street stalls a to tech start-ups, one can see growth trends in GDP over the past 30 years.
