Your generosity continues to bear fruit in the lives of men, women, and children who are fighting their way out of poverty. Here’s just a couple ways the Hope family is making a difference:

A NEW ONLINE PLATFORM TO FIGHT DISEASE 

We launched our first international training webinar with Hope International to fight the spread of COVID-19 and other harmful pathogens in 10 under-resourced countries! 

Key leaders from such nations as Rwanda, Congo, Ukraine and Haiti engaged in conversation with commercial cleaning experts, Anthony Barton and Dale Nabie from Safe Companies. The focus of the conversation was on new ways to reduce the spread of disease keeping families, children, and elderly safe. It was a great step forward to better understanding how to truly help people flourish in challenging times. 

ENTREPRENEURS OVERCOMING SETBACKS

Alguita, a businesswoman who is part of our Quito Entrepreneur Program is starting a clothing business in Ecuador. She shares an encouragement in the face of the pandemic and economic setback, “One word that stands out to me in all this is LOVE.  Love for God, my family, and my business.” Alguita has a resilient vision to make a difference in her world. She’s quick to acknowledge that it’s because of the loving community and support she has. That support comes in part because of people like you are investing her future.  

While we are in serious conversation to figure out new ways to help people in the U.S. put food on the table and God’s love in their hearts, I want you to know how much you are appreciated. A first-century rabbi wrote, “Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”  Please know that your love for people is making a difference. Hope is rising. I’m so grateful for your partnership and pray that God meets you in profound ways in this summer season.
