Staying Full of Hope
The Hope Family is truly amazing!
Here’s just a couple ways the Hope family is making a difference:
LOVING OUR NEIGHBORS – FRUIT THAT LASTS
Two years ago we supported Mary Kaech in the start of Phoenix Refugee Connection (PRC) that welcomes the stranger and loves their neighbors, specifically those with refugee status. Little did we know this effort would support hundreds of families to get back on their feet.
Nawal, a Syrian refugee, in Phoenix started a business baking traditional Syrian sweets in her home kitchen.
Mary Kaech of PRC writes,
I wanted to let you know that PRC is thriving, thanks be to God. I have a good advisory board, a core group of pray-ers, sufficient funding, and I'm seeing fruit from the ministry. I'm so grateful for the guidance you gave me..--especially the instruction to prioritize prayer.. I am passing that guidance along to the network--to other lay-leaders here in Phoenix, and they're sharing it with their circles, as well. Thank you for all you do!

ENTREPRENEURS OVERCOMING SETBACKS
Alguita, a businesswoman starting a clothing business in Ecuador shares encouragement in the face of the pandemic and economic setback, “One word that stands out to me in all this is LOVE. Love for God, my family, and my business.” Alguita has a resilient vision to make a difference in her world. She’s quick to acknowledge that it’s because of the loving community and support she has. That support comes in part because of people like you are investing her future.
While we are in serious conversation to figure out new ways to help people in the U.S. put food on the table and God’s love in their hearts, I want you to know how much you are appreciated. A first-century rabbi wrote, “Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” Please know that your love for people is making a difference. I’m so grateful for your partnership and pray that God meets you in profound ways in this summer season.
God bless you and your loved ones,
Mark Goeser, Hope Ventures
